Use this recipe to get your children involved in party preparation! Encourage your child to gather ingredients, read labels, find the correct measuring spoon, and get to work. Don’t forget to wear your apron! Here’s what you’ll need:
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 2 teaspoons cumin
- 4 teaspoons oil, olive or vegetable
Combine all the above ingredients in a bowl. Mix. Add 2 cups pecan halves to the spices and mix. Spread in one layer on a baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Serve in a festive bowl and enjoy!
