Beth Wood of Our Montessori Life returns with more wonderful book recommendation to get you in the mood for spring. This time, her selections are for the young children’s community, a.k.a toddlers! Revisit her ideas for 3-6 year olds here, and consider adding the 4 books below to your spring library!
Spring Books for Toddlers
- Red Rubber Boot Day by Mary Lyn Ray – A favourite of ours for the last 12 years. Gorgeous pictures and prose.
- And Then It’s Spring by Julie Fogliano – Great for kids 3 and under although older children enjoy it too. A boy’s journey of waiting.
- Planting a Rainbow by Lois Ehlert – One of our favourite authors for bold graphic design style books. Simple text and excellent for toddlers.
- Little Honey Bee by Katie Haworth and Jane Ormes – Excellent counting book with beautiful graphics and rhymes.
We hope you enjoy the changing of the seasons with your family with the help of these book recommendations. Do you have any additions to the list? Share with other parents @guidepostparent or in Chat!
